Meet the founder
Hello, I'm Richard Nachreiner, the founder of United Succor. I grew up in Western Pennsylvania and relocated to Southern Louisiana in my late twenties. I've always had a passion for helping others wherever I could. When Hurricane Ida struck, I felt truly helpless; I had never felt that way in my entire life. The support we received from individuals and groups inspired me to give back. Witnessing the devastation caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton further fueled my commitment to help. Since then, I've been dedicated to growing this organization so that together we can provide even more assistance during disasters. I understand there will be challenges, but I believe together we can make a significant difference in the lives of those facing tough times. My personal mission is to help those in need, which is why I cover all overhead costs to ensure that every dollar raised goes directly to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we help.
